Enfalac Baby Gentlease contains partially broken down proteins (partially hydrolyzed cow-based formula milk). It aims to reduce fussiness and gas in babies. The formula includes

  • DHA and ARA  for brain development. 
  • Milk Fat Globule Membrane (MFGM) to support baby’s growth and development
  • High Iron and Zinc are added to prevent anemia and help growth.

Enfalac Baby Gentlease uses corn syrup solids as a carbohydrate source. This formula is suitable for babies from birth to 12 months.

2. Similac Total Comfort

Similac total comfort uses partially hydrolyzed cow-based protein. It aims to be gentle on baby’s tummy.

The formula includes

  • DHA
  • Prebiotics Fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS),
  • Human Milk Oligosaccharide : 2′ fucosyllactose (2’FL), 
  • lutein, and vitamin E
  • Nucleotides to support immune system

8. Hipp Bilac Organic Infant Formula Step 1

Hipp Bilac Organic uses organic ingredients. This brand is known for its high organic standards. However It is not partially hydrolyzed formula milk.

The formula includes

  • DHA and ARA which support brain development.
  • Prebiotics – GOS

Hipp Bilac is free from artificial additives. It uses lactose as the main carbohydrate source. 

Its iron content is 0.76 mg per 100 kcal, meeting the European recommendations for iron levels in infant formula milk.

However, it is not approved by the US FDA due to its lower iron content.
